I ride MX and woods on a 2019 KTM 450SXF and as soon as I put this on, I immediately could tell a difference in the handling of the bike. I had less arm pump and the front end of the bike was more stable than without it.
Countershox knows what they are doing! I recommend getting this for your machine and never looking back.

I recently tried a new shim stack on my forks and rode a familiar course that is pretty nasty with square edged roots and rocks. I immediately knew the new stack was too stiff….but even with the stiff setup, I got zero arm pump. I get arm pump on courses like this 100% of the time, even with the correct setup. I didn’t even remember I had the countershox on, then a light bulb went off about no arm pump. Can’t wait to get back to my normal setup with this new addition.

We raced the back half of the AX season with the Countershox on the RRCZKTM motorcycles. Each rider found different things to say about the device, all positive. I loved the way it leveled the bike out in the air through the rhythms, Branden said it was the equivalent of a spring conversion, and Dillon felt it reduces front end wash. This device is worth the investment.

I really didn’t want this to work when Nathan let me demo one. The reality is it works, the front wheel just tracks better with it installed! I installed one as soon as we took the demo unit off.

I had this device put on my bike right before the leadbelt national enduro. Then I rode with it on at a blackjack race in texas and it really did make a difference. The front end felt better and my arms weren’t hurting like they usually do. Even at the end of the race my body felt better than normal and I was faster and more confident. The countershox took a lot of the force off so after the race I was not sore like I usually am. Overall, I am very happy with this product and definitely recommend it!

Excellent blog post, I would recommend it to every friend.

This product is an absolute game changer, reduced arm pump, increased confidence when managing technical or wide open style riding. I love this thing, in fact it fell off on me (installation error by me)and I thought I broke something internal in my forks, the product makes that much of a difference… oh and the customer service is excellent!

follow up review. had the original unit I bought have some issues, got in touch with countershox and expected a couple replacement parts to show up. less than a week later, I arrived home and found a FedEx box with a whole new kit in it. I’m super impressed with the service after the sale. like I mentioned in my first review, I was quickly sold on the product after demoing a unit and the willingness to fix issues after the sale is something many in this world could learn from!

When receiving the counter shock device for the first time I looked at it and thought to myself “well this is a gimmick”. After installing the counter shock I went to an area I usually ride quite a bit, so I’m familiar with the train. The counter shock device was doing something for my front end like I had never felt before. I liken it to having a set of flex bars and a steering stabilizer set to a mid setting. The feedback of every bump through the bars was mitigated and the bike seemed to track better through choppy Rocky terrain. I found myself kind of wincing in anticipation when I was going through sections where I would usually deflect severely. I was also noticing that I was more focused on how my rear shock was reacting over the bumps now that my front end was more planted. I also like that the installation was behind my number plate and really not noticeable as well like other devices used to help with handling. For the price it is a very nice upgrade that I would recommend to anybody hoping for an enhancement in the way their suspension functions and how their bike handles!

I’m an A30 enduro racer and just got a new 2023 KTM 300XC The bike is great but I didn’t love the air forks. I came from KYB converted forks on my 2020 TE 300i and was worried I was going to have to drop a few grand on my forks for me to be comfortable on the bike.
The air forks made it hard to hold my line through rocky sections, an area where I typically excel. A friend suggested I try a Countershox. While skeptical at first, after my first ride, I became a believer. The bikes tracks much better through rocks. The front end has a more planted feel and on deep G outs, my bike no longer feels like a pogo stick following impact.
I can’t recommend the product enough because it truly made me more comfortable on my bike and when you’re more comfortable, you’re inevitably a safer, faster rider.
