We raced the back half of the AX season with the Countershox on the RRCZKTM motorcycles. Each rider found different things to say about the device, all positive. I loved the way it leveled the bike out in the air through the rhythms, Branden said it was the equivalent of a spring conversion, and Dillon felt it reduces front end wash. This device is worth the investment.

I was luckily enough to get to test out the CounterShox on two of my bikes. One is a 125 and a 350. The CounterShox device helped reduce the harshness of chop on the front end and reduce the amount of armpump. Armpump has been my main struggle coming back to riding/racing after 7 years off and the day I tried this device at practice, I haven’t taken it off since! It’s most definitely a game-changer and a must for anyone, no matter if you are racing or just a practice guy. This device also helped my front end feel planted more when in ruts/corners and more balanced when hitting braking bumps into corners whereas before, the front end would almost feel bouncy/not in control. The device has taken over to counteract all the negative effects on the front suspension and create a much smoother and efficient ride.

I was skeptical this new simple looking gizmo would work. But I was wrong. It’s like a steering stabilizer for your front forks. Eliminates small trail junk that KTM has been known to struggle in. That surprised me but what really surprised me was how it softens the hit in hard G-Out type obstacles. I call it my airbag for the forks.

So I have been on these since Gen 1, and the Countershox does not disappoint. On my 790 Adventure R, it was the finishing touch to smoothing out the chatter board found on most graded roads, and it seemed the worse the chatter got, the better it got. This is proven technology, and excited that we now get this for our bikes.

This product is an absolute game changer, reduced arm pump, increased confidence when managing technical or wide open style riding. I love this thing, in fact it fell off on me (installation error by me)and I thought I broke something internal in my forks, the product makes that much of a difference… oh and the customer service is excellent!

I recently tried a new shim stack on my forks and rode a familiar course that is pretty nasty with square edged roots and rocks. I immediately knew the new stack was too stiff….but even with the stiff setup, I got zero arm pump. I get arm pump on courses like this 100% of the time, even with the correct setup. I didn’t even remember I had the countershox on, then a light bulb went off about no arm pump. Can’t wait to get back to my normal setup with this new addition.

I was skeptical at first, but once I tried it, WOW what a difference! All my life I’ve experienced the harsh jarring of chop, breaking bumps, and gnarly ruts. Literally the second I put this one and took a lap, I immediately felt a difference. The jarring basically disappeared, the front end felt more controllable and had a noticeable difference in armpump! All of my bikes will be running these from now on! Nathan was a stand up dude too, super knowledgeable, super helpful, and stands behind his product.
Highly recommend. 11/10.
